The 1812 Events

Located in Port Clinton, Ohio, 1812 is where classic dinner service meets Lake Erie flavor. Our menu celebrates everything from hand-crafted appetizers to steaks, chicken, veal, pasta, and seafood—plus desserts made in-house (and often meant for sharing). 

Our name nods to the War of 1812 and the Battle of Lake Erie—history that shaped this region and still defines it today. 

And while we’re known for a fine-dining experience, we keep it comfortable: there’s never a dress code—just “come as you are.”
